Carbon Masters have developed an innovative on-site waste to renewable energy solution called Carbonlites in a box. It’s a fully functioning portable biogas plant built within two 40’ reused shipping containers one on top of the other. It has been installed in our first client the Iskcon Temple in Bangalore. It processes 1 ton of the temples food waste on a daily basis and produces 40 kgs equivalent of Carbonlites per day which are purified of impurities and piped directly into the Temples kitchen where it displaces LPG for cooking. It provides a sustainable solution for the temple’s food and cow waste, saving rising tipping fees, and LPG costs as well as reducing the temples Carbon emissions.
