The advice and support service went live on 1st April 2013 and has replaced Scottish Government business and public sector advice services previously delivered by Zero Waste Scotland, Carbon Trust and the Energy Saving Trust. This landmark programme will be the first time advice on energy, water, materials and waste can be accessed from a single service.
The programme is managed by Ricardo-AEA, Zero Waste Scotland and the Energy Saving Trust and Carbon Masters’s role will be to provide
one-to-one specialist advice to help organisations reduce energy & water consumption, waste and use of natural resources, thereby reducing carbon emissions and saving money. Under the RESASS programme, we will be providing tailored advice for organisations on projects and solutions that can save £10,000 or more. Our role will involve highlighting the benefits and savings achieved by the project, providing indicative costs and investment requirements, advising on legal compliance, delivering briefings
and training, giving guidance on staff engagement and providing ‘snagging advice’. In the first instance, we will be reaching out to our existing clients to find out if they have a £10,000+ project they need early stage assistance with. For further information, contact info@carbonmasters.co.uk.
